I got 5.4 million coins going into blitz and I wanna make a theme team with about half of that budget so 2.7 mil. Which TT is the best for that budget? I’m also fine if the cards are a bit outdated but i want this to be a team I can use for the rest of the game.

This is exactly what I did. Got the Calvin Johnson 90 OVR and built a lions TT around him. Now at 60/60 and hes 93 OVR with 94 speed, a straight monster. I have an insane defense and a great O line to go along with it. Great team if you like to mix in the run as well.

I would have liked to try this too. I am a huge Calvin fan man he's an animal!

Dude literally my favorite player in madden. Ive had him for months and hes still out here giving me monster performances every game

Route technician- stemmed up comeback route is borderline unstoppable when the throw is timed right

^^THIS is the way. In all respects... bang bang, baby. 49ers theme team is absolutely cooking right now. Bitch Pigeon & Raider Nation also elite, but the advice TMac provided is absolutely solid -- find a small handful of elite players/cards that you want to boost and try to chase that. For me, it's 50/60 49ers + 20/30 Autumn Classic, which is how we get 97 SPD Jerry Rice and uhhh 96 SPD Charvarius Ward. Daddy Deion drops later today, but probably going to be ridiculously expensive.
Regardless of what you go with, make sure you've got the OG Crystals players (for +3 SPD) and immediately get yer roster to 50/60 theme team.

Accept no substitutes... Dont'e Thorton Jr is every bit as much a monster as Calvin. You can pretend he's wearing #81 if it helps you sleep better, or put him in Lions uniform. =)

Or you can have them both as WR1 and WR2. On my TT calvin also gets a collectors series boost which pushes him to 93 OVR. I run them both and calvin is better IMO. He seems to catch a lot of stuff that Thornton can't especially when getting hit shortly after the catch. His run blocking is much better as well.

At the moment I have Cooper Kupp (94 SPD), Jerry Rice (97 SPD), Dont'e Thorton (94 SPD) and Randy Moss (93 SPD)... maybe we'll be able to sub Daddy Deion in at WR? To be determined, but I'm assuming based on how Travis Hunter has functioned for M26. I don't doubt that Calvin's big body and player model enable him to box out defenders, just suggesting that our guy (on 49ers theme team) is nearly as good as Calvin and probably (definitely) not worth changing theme teams to the Lions, for (or myself). THanks for the great insight!
