So recently I have gone from being a champ III player to now 21-17 and in elite II And i just have these 2 major problems keep on happening when I play and I want to know how to fix it. So my first problem is when I am running a pass play, I feel like i get sacked instantly and when i do i usually have someone open that i am throwing to but i cant sense i got hit so quickly. And my 2nd problem is when i do have time i just get boxed so i just feel really stuck. And my D has really just been hit or miss. And for the playbooks that i am running are the most popular Jax O and Jax D

I would really appreciate some help thanks.

(also i do want to mention that i have been playing with 1 hand recently)

The one hand thing is prolly hurting you the most rn. But it could be the plays your running, I've been playing for years and the plays I run, I know which ones run the risks of me getting insta sacked, and I know how to stop it for those plays. Sometimes like if it's a Play Action, boot leg, and the defending player did QB contain, it can lead to an insta sack.

Yeah, best advice is to always use 2 hands.

Well for one thing, if your trying to not get insta sacked, your best bet is finding a formation where the RB is in the back field and the TE is on the RT/LT. You block the TE, and block the RB, and if the RB is on the same side as the TE, motion him to the other side and just make sure he's blocked. Btw, I run the steelers playbook

There's a difference between using a good playbook with good plays the way they are, and going to youtube and running the same 3 plays with the same hot routes every play. It sounds like you are just using a good playbook. Who cares what some clown online thinks, he clearly isnt trying to help.

I would start by putting pass protector on as many linemen as you can. Always press L1 + base blocking pre-play. Always make sure there is nobody unblocked. If there is an unblocked rusher then slide protection or keep a TE or RB in to help. Someone on here told me the other day to go into the coaches settings on offense and use "empty" blocking. That seems to help pick up stunts better.

Best advice is to do all these things AND try to get the ball out in 2-3 seconds. Run a lot of short concepts like double drags, quick outs, slants, flat routes, etc. If they are bringing more 5 or more rushers there is always someone open if you run the right concept. One thing that helped me a lot is finishing games, saving the gameplay, and rewatching it to see if you missed something while playing. Sometimes ill even re-watch plays mid-game really quick to figure out what defense someone is in if im confused or getting shut down. Good luck man

It’s too hard to play defense in this game.

Put Juszczyk or Westover in at rb, keep them in as blocker, and slide your line the opposite way where rb is lined up. Stop trying to hit home runs and go for shorter yardage gains. Run option plays. Have a good blocking TE. Put abilities on your line.

Lot of these meta blitzers don’t know how to stop the run. Mix it in, see if they can stop it or not.
