Why 3:00 Minute Clock in H2H?

The 3 Minute clock in H2H is so stupid in my opinion. 

It feels like cheating when you defer the ball, because even if they score on their opening possession, you have 3-4 minutes to chew the clock down to halftime.

Then, in the second half, the game is (at least)  tied up and you have the ball, and if you get a touchdown on your drive it's pretty much a win.

What makes this even better is if you have a reliable way to convert 2-point conversions. Then, you can get up by 1 at halftime and make it a 9-point (2 score) game if you get w TD after the half.

Regular seasons are played at All Pro difficulty, the 5 minutes quarters are typically reserved for elevated All Madden difficulty, for stuff liek Ranked play and Gauntlet, although I may not have this exactly correct. 

But you're absolutely correct, 3m quarters with auto run off are too short, but 5m quarters can be tedious if you're grinding 150+ games a month for Ranked play. 

Controlling the clock is advanced Madden stuff, especially this year when defense is incredibly difficult, every second you possess the ball you end up playing the best defense possible.

Most kids are so ADHD they have to no huddle and run up tempo the entire game... can't be bothered to slow things down and play keep away.
