How do people keep forcing so many fumbles
I hitstick players, turn on aggressive tackling and get a fumble like once every 5 games

Then my opponents seem to force a fumble on every tackle, even non hit sticks my their CPU
.
Am I missing something. Its gotten to the point where i cant call runs and basically have to throw sideline routes every play as if I dont get out of bounds, I fumble

I don't know, but if your assessment is based on more than bad RNG, I will guess here that it has to do with the POW attribute. Perhaps there's a threshold you're not hitting, and so you don't get the fumble-forcing bonus associated with the Event.

I hit stick the ball carrier...he bascally flys backward, does a 360, but no fumble

There's no real rhyme out reason. I did see someone running Enforcers all over the field, but I haven't found that improves things much, if any. Just a huge waste of AP.
Just keep trying, eventually you'll have a game where you knock it loose and your opponent gets nill. My initial impression of this game mode was almost exactly the same as your own. As far as I can tell, it's purely random. I keep losing to inferior opponents through stupid RNG.
