Wake Me Up When It's Fun Again

The event is a catastrophe. The more I play it, the more things I find wrong with it. And while my opponents can't seem to find their way out of a paper bag schematically, they frequently end up with these fourth-and-forever hero plays that happen once every few years in real life.

It's pathetic, and I don't need the irritation anymore.

I don't understand how people could stand this nonsense, except that they were winning, doing all of the cheap stuff that lets them transcend ordinary bad random chance.

Played 3 total games since event started. 15 total fumbles.  6 were in one game. Been playing ranked and h2h seasons I'll wait for next event

When I conservative catch, quite often my guy wouldn't go to the ground before getting smashed and the ball coming loose. On numerous occasions I would try to go to the ground after the catch or on a run, and I would get that terrible floating dive animation that has also resulted in fumbles. At no time in the NFL were ball carriers putting the rock on the ground on a third of all tackles. The game is bipolar enough to not need even more arcadey nonsense.

H2H won't be fun until March.

Man either play the game or don’t we need the exact same post from you guys crying in exact same few paragraphs. Everyone knows the game is ass yet here we all are still playing 🤣 and i bet ya’ll are all back next year too

That's terrible.  This event really shows how bad this game can get. I don't see how anyone can have fun playing this at all let alone doin this event multiple times

It's all good, it's called "sharing the misery"

Take a break man, sometimes that helps bring the urge to play back!

I actually enjoy playing the game....but not in events where I have to win 12 in a row.

That was implied by the title of this thread, "Wake Me Up When It's Fun Again".

It's tough though. This game takes and takes and takes during the course of building a decent lineup, and even the guys who spend money are pouring hours over the course of the year in tweaking lineups and managing their binders. When you have a team good enough that you can actually keep up with the degenerates, then EA spits out a half-baked mode like the current one that punishes the player who kicks off to start. At that point, all incentive to play goes down the toilet for anything but the sweatiest, cheatiest gamers, ensuring those who dare get more than their fair share of sweaty and cheaty.

Agreed, I completed the event and had no fun doing it!  However, after completing ranked to my satisfaction and this event I sold my team to take a much needed 8/9 day break until we get a new event.  I'll buy a team again after assuming I still have the desire to do the grind again.  You're right though, the mode does wear on you after a while no question!  I haven't made it past Zero Chill in several years for this reason...it's a shame for what it COULD BE!

This event is Brutual.  One of the worst of the past 5 years

You will not win 10 games without insane luck.  The RNG will find creative ways to make you lose

I user lurked a perfect INT...didnt touch the defender and got called for pass interference...my first PI of all year
