Obviously speed is an important stat but what other stats influence how good a card is? COD? MCV or ZCV? ACC?
How about for more D line guys? STR? BSH?
Let me know

85 is the threshold for all Madden and 90 is the threshold for all pro
QB: THP (Skimbo says to get it over 91 but at a minimum it should be over 90), SPD (if you scramble), SAC, MAC, and DAC. TUP is good too
Skill Positions: SPD, COD (90 for the speed burst thing), AGI, SRR, MRR, DRR
OLINE: STR, AWR, PBK, PBP, PBF, RBK, RBP, RBF (used to be only PBP, PBF and RBK but according to ZAN they all matter now)
DLINE: STR (higher = more sheds), PMV, FMV, BSH (vs the run)
DBs: ZCV, MCV, AGI, COD

Good list, unfortunately as we get later into the year all that matters is abilities.

yup, that's the sad truth

Thanks brotha, this is nice.

When you say threshold, threshold to what?
Like, what happens when you hit 85 on a stat or 90 on a stat? I've always been aware of looking at the stats to "hit thresholds" but I never actually know what they do.
Great list by the way. I would also add that for DB's and linebackers, you want to be aware of STR, IBL, POW, and Block Shed for the run game. Higher values == less likely to get bulldozed by lineman.

hit the threshold for them to play good. or at a point to were it changes the way they play (in a positive way)
yes, 100%. TY for adding that bc I kinda forgot about that
If u want a good user you absolutely need speed acc cod and agility imo. If u dont have the last 2 its gonna feel ugly when trying to turn

What's the difference between agility and COD?

No idea but if I dont have both I feel clunky

Just to add on to what Ravens was saying,
Thresholds usually are an attribute value where there is a disproportionate spike in some calculation under the hood.
For example let's say each point of zone coverage increases your defenders reaction time to turn around by .05 seconds and play the ball. If 85 is a threshold then going from from 84 to 85 might be a whole .5 seconds (10x) which makes it substantially more valuable than going from 83 -> 84 or 85 -> 86

If this is the case then what's the point in buying high value cards?

TTs, SPD, and abilities
also on All Pro (Normal H2H Seasons) it needs to hit 90 for the threshold. All Madden (Ranked, Gauntlet) just needs 85

What does that mean? Any stat needs to hit 90 for that stats threshold? Is it every 5 points like going from 90 to 95 hits a new threshold or just get above 90 and that's all that matters?
