Welp theme team it is then.
I can't afford a full theme team, plus I'm really bad at this game, so I don't wanna pay extra to lose with a better looking lineup

You get +1 SPD,STR,RBK,BSH,AGI,PBK,ZCV,CTH, TAK, COD,MCV,SRR with only 20 TT cards. You don't need a 50/50 team to make big improvements.
Those 20 cards can be budget backups. For under 100K coins and free packs from challenges, you can start any Theme Team you want.
as a player who has raged sold my team at least 4x this year. I can say team themes are better. I tried just getting player that fit my scheme like west coast power run and you do feel the difference of the player speed. Not saying that the most important because a player with good Route running or play rec will play better then a player just speed. But if you can boost speed and other attributes and fill in key positions like LT, a TT is more effective in MUT for sure

I raged sold my team once this year and when I rebuilt it I used the players I wanted. I started noticing my players not able to keep up on defense and on offense I wasn't getting separation. Ebuka, Thornton etc are killin woolen on streaks even with help up top.
Techniquely yes you are at a numbers disadvantage. I honestly dont think you can rely on just the numbers themselves. If you are less skilled it really doesnt matter. I have won games with a skelton team with just promo boost alone with no barlkeys no gibbs. I honestly think i play better and harded with players i like and enjoy playing with. I seen guys play hard with the lowes promo cards with stroud and jefferson. In all honesty it isnt that hard to get a whole bunch of filler cards to get a tt going. If you played last season and have most to all you season cards upgraded maxed and this years maxed plus team captains and all the free cards. I think its more rewarding winning with those team beating something who spent a ton on there team vs watching you 3 mil coin corner pick a ball he should be picking
