I am sure this has been asked countless times, but I am not seeing it. While I do play Madden 26 H2H, I play a lot of Duos with my friend as OC. I run a 50/50 Steelers team, and he runs a 50/50 Cowboys team. We were having a discussion on making a 25/25 lineup of our own and going out there with both teams 50/50 combined. Does this grant a TT boost? If I have my 50/50 and he uses a Steelers player just because, would my boosts apply to his one player? Just trying to make it make sense. Appreciate it!
Yes tt boosts are applied to and from your friends lineup in squads

This is wrong. Used to be that way.
A buddy and I have tested 25/50 each, 50/50 each and I would check the player speed in game and no changes. Sorry to burst your bubble on this.
The only thing that seems to "stack" in some sort of way is the strategy cards.

Also, when he was using a 50/50 raiders theme team, I had Donte Thornton, who did NOT receive a speed boost.

How do you check the speed in game?

Whenever you are selecting an offensive play, there's like coach suggestions, formations, concepts and one that says Player - like you are picking a play designed for specific players.
From here you can see the stats on some players that don't have abilities on.

Sorry I’m a bit late to this.
Could you please explain how MUT Squads theme team chems work? I’m someone who only really plays MUT Squads and am wondering what is the best way to build my team with my friends. Is it best to build your own theme team on both offense and defense or should I coordinate with my teammates to do same theme team, potentially based off offense/defense captain?

I don't have any actual proof, or specific knowledge of how things work -- heck, i'm not even convinced the folks on EA's payroll understand how the game works.
However, it's extremely noticeable in terms of pure gameplay. Greg Olsen on combined 49ers theme team, with just two out of three of us using 50/60 49ers, versus everyone rolling their own, independent lineups, makes for significantly worse gameplay. I just thought my TE was stuck in mud for a handful of games to start the year. It's just dumb luck that the other QB i typically play with is die-hard Niner fanatic and he's always been 49ers throughout our ~year of running Squads together. It wasn't until AUG or SEPT of this year, when i started trying to find other people to play with that i noticed the difference. And it was dramatic, a truly stark contrast.
My best guess is that YES, somehow these boosts manage to stack. And the numbers displayed on the screen are unreliable, at best. If you drop into some solo challenges, you'll regularly see strange values for those speed ratings.
I am fully expecting Randy Moss will be able to hit max 99 SPD between our rosters, with a pair of 49ers theme teams (and Crystal boosts), along with the +3 Most Feared strategy items (+1 All Stats)... however, i do not have an exact formula for how the game calculates such things. But yes, i believe they stack. Somehow, some way.
Bang bang, baby. This is the best card in the entire game. However, don't snooze on those Shapeshifters, they are also ELITE.

I main MUT squads and we are pretty sure it is just the strat cards/holiday strat items. So we have been stacking Unreal moment TT (now Most feared)if that makes sense. In year past you could both stack 50/50 TT and it seemed to work but not this year. There is no definitive way to check stats but some work around was in game position subbing you can see the players overall change up or down or used to be when you made it to the superbowl it would show the kicker and the returners stats but that is bugged this year where it show the longsnapper stats lol oh EA.
all that being said our plus +5 speed OBJ was still getting caught by like day 1 xavier watts on a streak so just have fun with your friends and laugh that none of this make sense.

Squads combines the lineups of the OC and DC meaning if you wanted to receive a +4 speed boost say from both the OC & DC having the same 50 team chem. You would need to have 25 or more of said team chem on both offense and defense, so that when the lineup combines you are still over the 50 threshold. The HC can apply a +2 team strat to lower that requirement to 23 chems. The HC's offensive and defensive strats stack with only the OC and DC sides respectively. Program strats stack the same, meaning that if all squads mates are using say the Most Feared strat, it will apply a +2 speed to MF players on the team.

Thank you very, very, very much for this clear and concise explanation that even I can understand. Been playing Squads for a full year now and only just recently did I learn about these combined benefits. Was just dumb luck that my OC always ran 49ers, as well. Wish I could say it was intentional.
Massive advantage to pair up with identical teams. These days most I guys I play with are 50 OC + 50 DC Niner Gang. Also 20/30 Most Feared.

Ok, I’ve done some testing with theme team chems in MUT Squads and here is what I figured out. Theme Teams and Chemistries are not transferred or shared between Offensive and Defensive Captain.
The offensive Captain just uses their own theme teams and chemistries while the defensive Captain just uses their own theme team and chemistries.
I run a 50/50 Raiders theme team and my +2 speed boosts are applied on offense even when my DC doesn’t run Raiders theme team. Also, my DC when he has raiders players in the lineup will not receive any benefit from my Raiders theme team.
All this to say theme teams are purely based off the individual lineup and not shared squad lineup.
But! The interesting thing is the program strategy items do stack. When all 3 squad members run +1 Most Feared Strat item we do see +3 speed boosts to all most feared players. So I recommend all Squads players coordinate using the same strategy card as this is definitely the most impactful way to improve the team.
tldr: theme teams and chemistries are not shared between offense and defense captain. Program Strategy items stack.

How do you display actual player speed while in-game with Squads? If we could do that, it'd be far easier to prove or demonstrate exactly how these things stack. I just noticed when i did NOT play with a combine 49ers theme teamer in squads, that Greg Olsen felt liek he was stuck in dirt. It was never on purpose, we just happened to play and be fans of the same organization. Bang bang.
Only after branching out and playing with other did i notice how SLOW everyone was all of a sudden.

When you are on offense. In the play calling screen. You can go over to the player tab and see the speed ratings of all your starting skill position players (If they don’t have superstar abilities or xfactor). That’s how I tested it in squads. Try it out yourself and let me know what results you come up with.
