Why does it keep saying I exceeded maximum of 3 players with X-Factors when I only have one activated in the lineup screen?

Whoever you had the last x factor on and swapped for the new one press y or triangle on PS5 remove him from lineup put x factor on the new player you'd like then add old player back in lineup. Stupid, but it usually works.
