Help me with Tight End decision

With the shapeshifter Nerf coming, it is time I address and add a nice tight end. McBride is too rich for my blood, so I have narrowed it down to Gates vs Loveland. Neither would fit any kind of theme team for me. First off which  you think looks better in general? They look pretty even with gates having a little more speed and loveland having a little more height. Then there is of course the way I would obtain them. I could use my tokens for Loveland, but then of course he remains a BND forever. If I bought gates for around 550k That means I would really only end up spending 200 K at the most as he’s an LTD and can  QS for 350k at any time. With all these things in mind, which way should I lean on tight end?

I’d say gates, dude was just a beast for me. Always open.

Yes 88 is decent and save some coin.

I gotta throw my boy LaPorta into this conversation. Even when the boost goes away he will be great. Team Captain Olsen is very good. 

I had the new crystal McBride and got rid of him already because LaPorta was better and I dont need them both on my team. Hes also a better run blocker.

Edit: I run a lions TT so honestly he may not be as good on your team as he is on mine. I did not do a MF TT.
