Lost everything on my sons account

My son couldn’t log into his Battlefield 6 account after the latest patch. Apparently there is a glitch no letting child accounts login even though his account is unrestricted. 

Anyways I contacted EA support for help. Pranav advised that the o my way he knew to do it would be to unlink his Xbox console ID to his EA account. Well, not only was his battlefield progress completely reset but also his Madden account. His offense was 89 overall and his defense not far behind. Poor kid knocked out almost all the challenges and I’m out the money I bought him on some Halloween packs (about $60). He was so pissed he didn’t even watch the game tonight. I’m going to try to contact EA by phone tomorrow, but EA totally screwed me. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this if it can be fixed?

I’ve dealt with Pranav before.  Not helpful in any way.  Actually, none of their “customer service agents” are really of any use when you have a legitimate problem.  Sorry to hear about your situation.

I know it doesn’t help you now but in the future, just make a new account without the restrictions for Battlefield. Hope they can recover your sons madden team

Important note. EA accounts can only link one time. Never ever unlink your accounts. You will lose everything

Yeah, he was like level 23-24 on battlefield so he would have lost a lot on there as well. Lesson learned.
