Lamar speed boost glitch?

I played someone who Lamar would randomly get a huge turbo boost on outside qb runs. Almost like escape artist. 

What is this?

The patch said scrambling qbs would get buffed and they named Lamar specifically as an example.

Its not a regular speed boost

Its more like escape artist from a few years ago. Read the description.   

I play against Lamar like every other  game.

This wasn't his normal speed boost

Well, I saw this thread, and came back to it to report that I just got a really, really glitchy boost on Moss during a punt return.

I know EA planned on boosting quarterbacks on runs. I wouldn't be surprised if they did more than they said they planned on doing.

I am curious on the same. Sometimes i just get a random speed burst, but do not know how to trigger this. is this something that you wait a couple steps then use R2 for the speed boost? 

Not sure how to activate this.

The speed boost you're seeing on ANY player is from Human Joystick, if you know how to do cuts correctly you get a speed boost from it.

Any tips on human joystick? i just dont know how to perform this best. When I make cuts, it is just a simple change of direction without much speed boost. 

Do you take your RT off when changing direction and  right after that, click RT for a short speed boost?
