Remember the old EA slogan/motto "If it's in the game, it's in the game!" da fuq ever happened to that slogan, is it no longer in the game, or even a thing? 😂

I just had 5.5 million coins wiped from my account by EA. I made 5 million from buying the crystal step up offer. Although expensive, it gave me a good way to get a good supply of guaranteed coins. Then I few days ago I thought I would try making some coins from buying and selling offensive linemen from theme teams I thought might be in demand. I wasn’t selling at the e max amount but was able to make a few hundred thousand coins over a few days. It seemed like a good and reasonable way to make some coins.Â
I’ve spent about $500 on Madden this year. Made some coins from the auction house after thinking I should learn to do this so I didn’t have to keep buying packs in the store.
It seems unreasonable to me to take the coins I spent real money on.Â
Anyway, thanks for listening. I’ve been on the fence about sticking with Madden, I think this helps me make the decision to pack it in.
Can’t wait for a 2k nfl game.  Ea sux
Knock on wood, I've been fortunate to not ever be banned for anything related to the auction house, but the stuff I've heard about over the last few years makes me think it's time to just get rid of the AH. Â Are there people willing to spend time grinding the AH to flip cards to make coin profit? Â Sure, but most people don't have the time and energy, and it really seems dumb that working the AH like you're a day trader is part of playing a sports video game. Â A more straightforward system would be this: get rid of packs, get rid of platinum cards, get rid of LTDs, get rid of training, get rid of all of it. Hell, get rid of sets too. Â
How about this instead: when EA rolls out new cards, it can put them in a store, and every card has a set coin price that's good for 7 days. Â Every 7 days, the coin price is marked down in the store. Â That 89 Calvin Johnson card will be expensive early on, but 3 months after it comes out, it will cost less. Â You want cards? Â Buy exactly the ones you want, no more and no less, and buy them when you want, at a set price that's the same during that 7-day period no matter what time of day you're logging on. Â You want to sell cards you don't use anymore? Â Every card would have a set quicksell coin amount which, like the coin purchase price, gets marked down every 7 days. Â
You want to acquire more coins? Â You would have two direct options. First, you can directly buy them in the store, at a specific price up front for a specific amount of coins. Â No more gambling: as in, no more packs with "odds" that contain cards that you have to sell or quicksell to get coins, and you don't know for sure how many good cards or how many coins you're ultimately going to get. Â Second option if you want coins: you grind solos, win games, accomplish field/event pass objectives, etc., to earn coins. Â
To me, the transparent system I'm describing would be a hell of a lot easier to work with than this ridiculously convoluted system we have now that still comes down to guys either spending real $ or not doing so. Â EA is going to engineer all of this to make as much money as possible, no matter what, so why not just cut to the chase and make the coin/card system simple?
