yeah absolutely, I should have clarified that he will be in the pool of players that are available in the pack, but not guaranteed to be in the pack

The crazy thing about these packs is that even when your chances are really good, you end up being able to choose from only a handful of the full number of current-tier Champions, and the rest are only recents.
In this case, there have been five potential 90 OVR players to choose from since yesterday. To have only three to choose from is pretty weak.
Did they change this pack from being a season 1 pack to a year long pack? Gonna get super annoying in a few months to exchange 6 weeks worth of grinding to get an 89

its a current season pack, only champions released during that season will be in the pack.

It’ll be interesting if a couple of 89s remain in packs opened today. Let’s hope not.
So these tokens seem like they are from the Solo Seasons, and you can only get a max of four per season, and each season is 14 games. So I'd have to play this 8 times (112 games) to get one pack of a bunch of random 89-90s and likely doesn't have the one that I want. Doesn't seem worth it to me. Am I missing something?

you can get 8 per week, 4 from "The Run" and 4 from a Solo Season, so 4 weeks gets you the pack. Solo season regular season games are only one half long with 3 minute quarters and you always start with the ball so super easy to chew clock. The Run actually gives decent packs for the higher levels at the very least giving some training. I usually do the games to complete daily, weekly, or campaign stat missions for XP

It's a bit of a grind for sure... but not too bad. My first pack (Season 1) I was able to choose BND Bowers which allowed me to sell the one I had bought - ended up getting my 1.2 million coins back... definitely worth the grind for me. My second pack (Season 2) I just pulled Ceedee who I had been considering buying but held off - that's a million coins saved... again definitely worth the grind for me.
By the way... assuming you don't lose any games... The League is 13 games each week... The Run is 20 games each week... and each game takes about 10-15 minutes or so. Maybe about 5-6 hours per week. I do these while watching a game or a stream and the time flies by.
And by doing The League and The Run each week... I easily bang out all the objectives without even thinking about them.

You grind out the games when doing other things, i'll do it while watching playoff baseball tonight and get the tokens and my objectives cleared out.
I'm not a good online player so it's better than the frustration of trying to play a few H2H games gets me
