Giving into a problem is no good. Speaking out against BS is the only way BS is going to get fixed. If I can’t make coins not spending money I’m not trying to let EA take hundreds if not thousands of dollars every year just so I can have a competitive team

If you’re flipping low golds that have a Median price of 1200 coins and you’re selling them for 20k cuz it’s a popular theme team, and you get coin wiped. You should’ve known better 

that’s how  coin distribution works, you overprice cards and someone buys them from you. So if you do anything that even remotely looks like that you get a coin wipe.

All I’m saying is you’re not a victim, if you do something knowing that it could trigger a coin wipe then you get what you deserve. You don’t have to make the game harder than it already is. Be smarter than the bots.

You do realize how strange the notion is to sell something for less than what it’s worth. If EA really wanted to manage people earning too many coins they could just set the max amount at a lower value that is for whatever reason palatable to them. Just like they do with the uniforms now. If they set a max amount that I can’t go over and I make coins, it seems crazy to penalize people for it.

I went with uninstalling the game and I’m going to charge back my credit card. It just feels too slimy to me. The strangest part to me is that they are losing money from people like me. I’m not trying to provoke a NMS argument, but last year I spent almost $2000 on the game. My kids and I had a blast playing Madden last year and to me the money was worth it. If they looked at my spending history, saving themselves a few hundred thousand coins I made in the AH this year seems trivial.

I’m done for the year boys. I think I’ll still read the forums. Although I don’t post a lot, there’s a great group of people here.

This is what I really don’t understand. And marketed by YouTubers that likely have a relationship with EA, but I could be wrong about that. Pop and Gmias don’t advertise the coins, but a lot of others do.

Hi there, I was banned last year unfairly during Sugar Rush, I appealed, got my account back, got wiped for 30million. But if you want to appeal, you can find some good threads on here on what to say to get account back.   But honestly taking the chargeback, is prolly best bet at this time.  They shouldnt be banning people for working the auction house.

Your LTD argument highlights the absurdity of what you're trying to prove. If you get something that's new, super exclusive, and costly, should you lowball yourself to avoid trouble? What's the price cutoff of reasonableness? Is $5M too high, and I should know better? $2M?

Is it really that much harder to make coins this year? The bot bans have escalated?

I’ve been seriously considering buying 26 and this just makes it more tempting. It’s probably just a matter of time. Something is clearly wrong with me.

you could just sell it for exactly what its worth, or even a 10-20% markup. I'm talking about people doing 200%+ markups

It is beyond easy to make coins this year, follow the twitchpro guy on here if you seem him posting. It either takes time or money, but that's how life is. work hard or buy it.

What's really BS is taking away the trade block, and making the LTD pull rates go from 6% to <1% because people were using trade block to sell ltds for coin distribution. The real solution would just be for EA to not put this in the TOS. They make millions of dollars off crappy pack offers.

I don't think you fully understand what I'm trying to prove, so can you please explain to me what you think I'm saying? because you and everyone else seem to think I'm not anti EA.

Yeah it makes no sense. EA uses average and/or median prices to determine mark up percentages. But at the same time, they can auto wipe you out of nowhere. I had it happen a few years ago when they had the 32 team Team Diamond (I think it was called) John Elway card. Spent so damn long building every set, buying usually half the cards for each team on the market. I’d then sell the set card and use those coins to make the next. This is where the average price and markup come into play as I sold that Elway card at the end for 100k under the average; everyone was getting auto banned for selling the card. Either it triggered the system due to amount of coins or coin selling companies were targeting that Elway card and unintentionally tagged the seller as someone engaging with them. It’s the only thing I can think of for why I happened. I recorded the entire thing and still was auto denied upon appeals and the story is way worse but not worth it. I still wonder about that auto wipe as I’ve never used a coin site for any game; even when I could’ve decades ago for my WoW/FF14/Etc gold I had when quitting. I actually get nervous whenever I’m using the auction house on Madden as idk wth caused it. Sometimes when I’m preparing for a new big program and I grab a bunch of 78s, 80-81s, 82s and 87-88s, I get nervous that I’ll get tagged just for buying a bunch of them. Or because some annoying bot or gold site is listing a bunch of the cards without me knowing despite just grabbing cheapest available. Their lack of transparency and inability to be held accountable is what sucks. Every year so many people get wrongfully coin wiped and when they come to the community for help, many attack them, berate them, mock them, etc… But with how it goes, it’ll happen to them in time. The only people who got their coins back after that Elway debacle were big streamers…who literally are sponsored by coin selling websites and do ads for them lmao. EA helping and providing items/money for their platforms while they tell teens who may not realize how bad it gets to go “here for the cheapest coins”. It’s a massive corrupt scheme but the only big time option we have for football. Anyway. Sorry it happened to you. It’s an auction house. No one should be banned for making profit legally. Bots and coin sellers should get banned/wiped. But nothing ever changes because we cannot come together. Just like life. Meh.

Funny how they ban people for proper use of the auction house but continue to allow these streamers to advertise all these third party coin buying sites. Ea is literally setting people up on purpose. They give coins to these sites, people buy from them, the site pays Ea their portion and once they get a good amount from someone, they ban them and take their coins back. Rinse and repeat. Most obvious scam ever
