I did challenges that give spot light tokens and then exchanged them for sellable players.

Grind the cpu event, you will get 100k coins and a few packs that will also give you about 50k worth of players, more if ur pack luck is good. Also do the promo challenges to get bnd player packs

Grind the Event too. With Unreal Moments campaign you can get some good stuff if you are just starting out.

The event might be very challenging for you, as at this stage your team will be outclassed by the opposing lineups. I would recommend focusing on the challenges and completing dailies. Once you get through most of the challenges, you can start dabbling in the CPU event The League, and not long after that, The Run. It will take you a few weeks to get up to speed.
