They should get rid of the theme team boosts and focus on strategy items. H2H, Events, and CPU games should offer special strategy items as rewards for winning. Get rid of theme team boosts and 32 team chems and replace with more varieties of strategy items. This would help create more variety of teams and increase the team building element. Also attributes like Jumping, Strength, and Catching need to matter more. More balance across all attributes being significant would really help. These changes would give a coaching aspect with strategy item selection, make team building fun and original again, and be more realistic where the way you build your team will lead to the way you call plays.
What were you smoking to say you should get rid of theme teams? I agree that there should be less all 32 team chem players, but theme teams are such an integral part of this game.
And for what? A strategy item that gives +3 catching instead of the regular +2?
Strategy items can’t make you coach better, as a couple points to Jumping or Strength won’t make that big of a difference.
No one wants a strategy item as a reward. It’s just not worth it unless it’s speed or acceleration. People would much rather get players or coins as the final reward. Imagine going through a flawless run in House Rules just to get a strategy item.
I wish there were more chemistries, and not these weak here-today-gone-tomorrow program chemistries that have defined MUT 26. EA has the NIL rights for NCAA, so why can't these NFL players also have their collegiate chemistries? Then Trevor Lawrence could get chems for throwing to Tee Higgins, and not just for handing off to Travis Etienne. Or Joe Burrow could get chems for throwing to Justin Jefferson opposite Ja'Marr Chase.
I was actually upset that for the past two years that we've had Campus Heroes, we didn't have NCAA chems.
More chems, more fun. With that, we do need fewer All-32 Team chems, especially early in the year, and I have no objection to having to do more to earn them.

A strategy items for DBs with +2 spd and acc, +3 prc and cit. I think that would be a valuable item worth playing through a gauntlet for. Also I didn’t say stop giving coin or player rewards. Also, more balance as to what attributes matter would benefit the diversity in team building and play calling. 32 player chemistry along with theme boosts limits the ways to form a team way too much. Especially with all the free items with 32 chems.

The duo (or trio) chemistry would be a lot better than theme team chemistry boosts. And college chemistry would be cool.
they should figure out a way where current players get 3x chem and former players get 2x chem and these any team players get 1x chem...raise the score for 2x speed to like 80 or 100 but make current players more valuable to theme team
