So if you run +1 speed crystals...you might not be able to use any other Saquan upgrade cards?

Meaning you wont be able to use the games cover athlete at anything past an 85 OVR if you want +1 speed?

Same with Parsons and Surtains....two of the most popular defensive players

EA has to add an upgrade path...they just have to

Or most players that want the +1 speed will miss out on 3 of the most popular players in the NFL

That sucks in the long run.

All 3 probably end up getting 99s by the end of the year. The way they went with Saquon they probably won't be doing upgrade paths unless they can somehow end up making money from it.

so glad none of these have been on the bucs bc you really lose a card. i wouldn't be shocked if they keep doing crystals and the next ones do maybe strength and jump. strength will probably be oline dline focus. jump maybe safeties linebackers te?

Well yeah thats the point? U either sacrifice being able to use the good cards for plus 1 speed or use the good cards and lose the plus 1 speed? Yeah it sucks esp if ur running one of the six theme teams that have a crystal card (ik the current ones are good rn but eventually they'll have the same problem) I haven't rlly understood why people expected an upgrade path or the new cards to get the boosts they never said they would and even EA wouldn't make it so pay to win that the cards u got from money will be usable all year

I never expected the upgrade path but I’m surprised they didn’t include one. Making pricey ladder packs hold value could sell more. They could still give redux most of the boosts but not all if worried too many will use same cards.
