Deja Vu of 2021, Ravens caught the injury bug again

Nnamdi Madubuike - Out for season (Neck)

Ar'Darius Washington - Out for season (Achilles) 

Broderick Washington Jr. - IR (Ankle)

Roquan Smith - Out vs Texans and a for a couple more weeks (Grade 2 Hamstring Strain)

Marlon Humphrey - Out vs Texans and for a couple more weeks (Calf)

Lamar Jackson - Questionable (Hamstring) (I do think he could be faking it just to not play)

Ronnie Stanley - Questionable (Ankle)

Travis Jones - Questionable (Knee)

Kyle Van Noy - Questionable (Hamstring)

Patrick Ricard - Questionable (Calf)

Nate Wiggins - Questionable (Elbow)

IK we have been horrible but especially now do not expect any TOTW cards from Baltimore

This season sucks man

We have like 10 starters injured including Lamar (probably not but you never know), Madubuike, Roquan, and Stanley plus we’re 1-3

Considering our defense is playing worse than the Bengals I’ll be happy just to make the playoffs

yup, I rather be horrible and have no expectations than have higher expectations and not meet them

its almost a given with us that we will have bad injuries

The lions went 15-2 last year with almost 20 players injured. Probably 12-15 actually played important minutes. Stop making excuses. The lions had practice players playing in the playoffs. Shit happens, lions deserved to lose that game against the commanders. On to the next game

The players on the Lions that were injured were nowhere near the caliber of the Ravens players that are currently out besides Aidan Hutchinson.

I’m not saying the Ravens are that good, we’ve still been bad and no excuses for how this season’s going.

You’re telling me that the ravens right now are more depleted than the lions last year?The Ravens have 4-5 good players injured. The lions literally had over 24 players injured and half of them played a lot of minutes. Even some of the backups that came in got injured and the lions had to rely on 3rd stringers and practice players. 

The ravens have a problem right now. It’s not because of injuries. They haven’t been playing good the entire season.

The Ravens have a deeper issue than injured players. King Henry and as on the sideline a lot last week, even on short yardage downs. Lamar has looked lost in the pocket and refuses to throw the ball away, usually ending in a sack after 5 seconds. The defense has so many holes you can pick which way to beat them; run or pass. The defense had issues before the injuries. I think it’s coaching.

I'm not making any excuses at all. it helps when your coordinators and HC are competent, and we haven't really had that. Orr hasn't been a great replacement for Mike McDaniel (who I wish we made HC instead of him going to SEA) and Monken has some questionable play calling. Not to mention Harbaugh is partially to blame for our lead collapses.

But when you have multiple key starters out while we are already playing bad, its gonna be rough.

yeah, I 100% agree with you on that. We need to feed Henry more and this oline has to improve. Lamar took a shot at our OC and the Oline during a press conference after the lions game saying that he was letting the routes develop (shot at Todd monken on why was he calling these long ass plays when he has 0 time in the pocket) and saying there pass rush was good (shot at the Oline for letting them through so easy). if you watch the endzone cam from the lions game, there was nothing we could do. all the routes were covered, the pass rush was getting in, and Lamar had no where to run. 

I'm fine with Lamar refusing to throw the ball away, that's how he plays. some of the huge plays we see out of him are when he doesn't and makes a play (e.g when he ran 20 behind the LOS vs the bills and then ran for the first on 3 & 15). and not to mention throwing the ball away doesn't get you anywhere, I'd rather have Lamar try to make a play than just give up and throw it away.

Holding on to the ball that often just leads to injuries or bad plays (fumbles and negative yards). 

At times, the Ravens seem more concerned with getting as many stats for Lamar as possible. No need to play when your up by 4 scores in the 4th quarter when you can run Derrick. Team sport.

ik injuries happen but some teams get very unlucky with them (2021 Ravens, 2024 Lions, etc)

when you don't have Lamar Jackson it does, did you ignore my example? if so, I'll give another one. in the RedZone vs the Bengals last year on thursday night football. 3rd down and Lamar yet again runs 20 yards behind the LOS and then sprints up field, gets the first down and even more to put his team on the 1 yard line.

and who is that on? the coaches

Man I wish we kept Mike MacDonald. If defense allows 25 points or more to the Texans then they should just fire Zach Orr. The blame is on everyone in this organization not named Lamar Jackson. If we don’t draft Lamar I think Harbaugh gets fired.
