Why does NMS and Money spent even matter?

I've played this game for 5 years (rookie numbers compared to others on here) and never got the hate for money spent players beside's them paying for the best team. But what's problem with spending like 25$ every few months? And why do some NMS players act like they're so much better than money spent? Just curious, since it seems now more than ever i see more forum posts end in MS and NMS players arguing, but it always seems some, far from all NMS players, act like they're so special for NMS.

This is NOT MENT to be an HATE POST on either side, just curious from the community's POV from why

Human nature to pick a side in most anything.   Like most things divisive, it really doesn't matter in the end. 

Money spent or not spent, we're all spending time. 

Enjoy the game as you see fit and don't worry about what anyone has to say about your style of play.

Yeah like Seven said, it doesn't really matter. There are players on the game who have spent no money that can wipe the floor with people with the absolute best possible team. Throne's NMS series only took him like 3 days to win a guantlet and make millions of coins lol. I think NMS people think that the game is "tougher" for them so they think it's a badge of honor when it really isn't. The only thing I don't love about people spending a ton of money is that it doesn't incetivize EA to really change anything for the better. But they probably wouldn't do that anyways lmao

This also is my only “problem” with people spending a lot of extra money on MUT is that if EA is making all this money on MUT year to year then they’ll keep giving us the same subpar product year to year. I’m guilty of spending a little outside of the base game too but this year was the first I didn’t preorder and get it the first day it came out. Waited for it to go on sale for 40$ on PSN store and that came with 4800 madden points. Most likely going to do the same next year

As competitors, we are always looking for ways to say, im better or more effective than you. I think MS vs NMS is a way to do it. Its cool either way but some gloat too much. I respect both sides. Im trying NMS this year, and working the AH. When the time arrives ill buy something

The problem isn’t with money spent. The problem is with matchmaking. There is no reason they should be matching people who play 20 + hours a week and spend $20+ dollars a week on the game against no money spent players. 
 

Honestly think matchmaking is SOLELY the reason we have the NMS convos.

It really doesn't. People either love to bitch about it, or claim some kind of non existent moral superiority.

It's so boorish and tiresome. Play the game however you want to play it.

The main problem is the P2W apsect. There would be no reason to buy packs if it didn't net an advantage and NMS players justifiably get angry when they need to play against cards that they have no possibility of acquiring. There are pros and cons to both sides (time vs money spent) and the main issue lies with different types of players being matched against one another when spending gives you an inherent advantage.

I spent a dollar for base elite Tyreek Hill like 4 or 5 years ago. Then dropped 100 back in like Madden 13, where EA actually allowed you to purchase coins from them. It was 50 bucks for 500,000 coins and the highest buy now you could post was 500,000. I wanted to buy 99 Moss and accidentally bought 99 AD instead. Then bought another 50 dollars worth of coins for Moss. 

Spending money gets you a god squad to start the Madden season for a few months. But after that, then its easy to have the same team as pros.
