Ive noticed that when i have empty protection on and i block my rb that he doesnt target anyone specific which seems fine since i don't have to do stuff like id the mike to try to get my rb to target someone specific or have my rb target someone not blitzing. Im no pro so i dont know the little differences between base vs empty other than the rb blocking and the fact that the play art has empty set olinemen backing up farther. I also noticed that one of the sets i forget which one seems like it has the blockers blocking the person in front of them and thus you dont have as many blockers blocking someone that isnt blitzing for instance having a guard blocking a lb instead of a dl. Anyone have any expert advice on pass protection ?
