Recent Madden 26 AP Updates (September 2025)
Ability Point Costs:
New AP costs have been implemented for certain abilities in Season 2, including:
- Conductor: 10 AP
- Master Tactician: 12 AP
- Roaming Deadeye: 6 AP
Patches:
The "Air truck" speed boost in Madden 26 has been patched as part of the latest update.
Maintenance:
Server maintenance was scheduled for September 17, 2025, from 6:00 AM ET, bringing all online modes, including MUT and Team Builder, offline.

10 AP’s ridiculous for Conductor. Master Tactician is Conductor (10 AP!!) + QB Playmaker (3 AP) + however much Hot Route Master will cost for 12 AP. Conductor costs way too much.

EA doesn't know how to actually fix the issue where Comp players are constantly flipping, which forces the defense to be misaligned. Pair that with the "quiet the crowd" Wheel motion glitch and voila -- dudes out there pretending this is SKILL GAP type stuff and not straight-up abusing the horrendous game logic.
So, i'm guessing, that this is EA's workaround, to buy themselves a bit more time to figure out an actual solution? I can only speculate, but it's bogus. I don't know if this is true, haven't been online yet today, but SOON... i heard there's already a new variant of the Wheel motion glitch.

Qbs that don't have Master Tactician shouldn't be charged 10 a.p. for conductor. Bs
I've been extremely satisfied with the way Hurts has been playing for me. For a season 1 card. No complaints..... Until now that is. He's the only QB I've used since day 1.

Guys that exploit those are the ones claiming NMS. lol. And talking crap when they actually beat you. What a joke of a game.
