I'm constantly having to close Madden repeatedly because of issues with Set menus. Meanwhile, I make sets for the Weekly Spotlight Field Pass, and they don't count. There are people that would be happy to be paid to play this game as an employee, and clearly the employees that currently have this job are not good at what they do.
Agree with all of that, the kind of crap that would see most people dismissed from their job if they did the same in their equivalents.
The sets not counting is a bloody disgrace.
I stopped doing any sets below 84 and qs them for mystery packs, the screen goes blank too much. Its a shame

Wait, can anyone confirm that EA actually employs any type of QA testing / Engineering team? I suspect the entire QA team was sent packing, back when they fired the art department and moved to the guy on Twitter, who works with a few basic assets (mostly stock images) and has ai generated borders to slap em into for whatever flavor of the week/month/day promotion is landing.
I'm super curious to see if the patch notes align with actual gameplay. I'm pumped to see that they clearly know what needs fixing, but do they have the development chops to pull it off and execute? To be determined.
I saw the workaround (because they don't know how to remove or prevent the flipping and forcing defense to mis-align) they raised Conductor to 10AP? Pathetic, but very on brand.

On the PS5, the pattern has been that when I try to roll an item just-yielded from a set into a second set, that is when the system gets lost. It's probably a subroutine coding issue where the initial set process didn't conclude, and you're not at the right level in the code to complete the next process. Just spitballing.
