I'm holding out hope for a gameplay patch before i make any snap judgements. Expecting that fairly soon, but i have no actual knowledge or information. What feels different?
We still drop picks, Zones barely cover diddly squat, Man is straight up inconsistent as hell (although becoming vastly more popular of late)... same buggy ass, inconsistent shit we've been playing for years, but with a hefty dose of lipstick on the proverbial Madden-pig this year. All things considered, it's been a decent start -- but the bar is extremely low here.
I'm still waiting for my pre-order bonus Julius Peppers.

Oh these guys suck and are 100% responsible for the way people play. They’re always pushing those coins from third party vendors that’ll get you banned. They don’t care about the community they just want their money.

Higher overalls and more abilities change the game play. Tonight was the best night my friend and I have had on squads since launch and there wasn’t too much bogus. But I feel like there’s more casuals out on Friday night.

Yeah those lock down cheese defenses annoy me. The ones where no matter what you call you can’t get a player open. Ruins the game. By the time you figure it out they move onto the next one.
What I don’t get is these cheesers always have god squads. Like you can win that way with any players why waste your money. So sad.

Can barely find a straight game nowadays. Gets boring af seeing the same cheese play or two over and over and over again. I can stop it just makes the game dull.

Its not you. Gameplay sucks.
They just keep slapping on new animations into a already bugged and outdated engine and thats what the game looks like.
You tackle air until the game realizes your player model is close enough to the other one and suddenly player models latch on to eachother and shit like that.
Every game you see multiple things that would be a meme and make youtube videos of bugs and shitty plays but people have gotten completely numb to these things.
Dont let people tell you this is such a fun, great product because it isn't. Its a low effort product designed to maximize revenue.
Only thing that got better is the soundtrack, kudos for that.
