The tickets carry over, the upgrade tokens do not

They really should an exchange set in season 2. Like if you 10 solo seasons tokens not 32 to complete the set you can exchange like 4 or 5 for one token in season 2

The token is a season 1 token so I would assume after season 1 it's worth nothing. Tickets did carry over last year season to season, although I don't know if it's the same this year. Best thing you can do if you want the highest overall card is to wait till right before the season turns and put your set together. That's what I'm going to do.
