Would it be smart to sell everyone, get the 3 crystal players then start saving up for a full theme team? Or are the crystal players going to become outdated and worth less soon?

I personally did the opposite.. sold all my crystals & got 5 mil to build Eagles TT fully maxed. Went from an 82 ovr with crystals and 1 mil coins to an 84 ovr with 3.5m

The crystal players boost any theme team. I think they are worth it even without a true theme team.

Right now crystals allow +2 speed with 20 theme team. This is insane value obviously. You can then fill roster spots with much better players than what you would fill with trying to get 50 theme team.

It also allows insane flexibility for switching theme teams. With season players and the crystals themselves being all 32, you can build up to 20 theme team really quickly. So if some different cards come out and you want to boost them, it’s pretty easy to build out the 20 TT and still have good players elsewhere.

They also boost theme teams that may not have the best roster. Makes them much more competitive.

This is what ultimately made me invest in them. Too many positives.

This is correct.

Right now, between the Rookie Premieres, Season Pass 1, Core Ray Lewis, Team Captains, Crystals, and Team Builders All-32 Team players, you only need about five players from the same team to complete a 20/20 theme team.
