There is no way to disable them completely to my knowledge.  The best advice I have is to start celebrating right before you cross the end zone which triggers a shorter animation.

No way to turn off. Just hit right stick left right after crossing goal line to do the salute celebration. It’s like 2 seconds long.

This should work cause it’s an option right? Unfortunately it ignores it whenever it feels like it, especially in solo vs cpu or events. Quickest way I found is to do right trigger with the right stick down to do the flip and move on quick.
