Can’t match up in the play a friend mode

Good day everyone 

I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem 

I go to play a friend in ultimate team and we both can’t match up properly, either the game crashes or there’s some error message  

 any help with this issue would be much appreciated because we’d love to play each other with our teams
