Resources to overcome the learning cu rve?

Haven't played seriously since M20. Put in the work that year and was at least competitive in most of my H2H games.

Got back in this year, and boy...what a mess I'm in. Lost 10 College OT in a row. Only had a chance in one of them. I'm 0-22 in H2H overall.

Team is 82 OVR with mostly BND players. 20 49ers, 15 Raiders. No real rhyme or reason to the players I own (this will make more sense later in the post).

Sitting on 3.6 million coins, waiting for some OVR bumps. Been absolutely grinding the solo content and spent some money too.

So, here's the deal: I want to get better but I really don't know how. My absolute favorite part of the game in M20 was finding a good scheme and spending a ton of time to find the perfect players to fit that scheme. I absolutely LOVE the team-building aspect. 

I watched some of the big YT guys over the last week or two, but a lot of them talk like they're in the room with an NFL coordinator. If you need that level of knowledge just to avoid getting blown out, I'll just have to stick with solos.

Is there anyone out there that does a good job of explaining a scheme in plain English, and also shows you how to do the setups? Big bonus if they also share what types of player ratings to look for inside of that scheme.

I'm looking to learn 2-3 formations in an offensive playbook and one main setup on defense that I can show a few different looks. What sucks is that I was a big run guy in M20 and there's just no run game right now. Guess I gotta learn how to pass...

Also, not against paying for content if it's what I'm looking for!

there’s always E books you can purchase, personally i just watch free ones online, Venm fire is really good and cody ballard

also learning user and switch stick is key for defence. also when you play someone who is really good, instead of quitting straight away, try see what they’re doing. understand what routes they’re putting out there and try learn from it 

what seperates good players and great players is the route concepts they put on the field and how they utilise these concepts

I abuse glitch routes and I'm not ashamed. I work 2 jobs and raise a newborn only have time for a game or two if I'm lucky, Currently Hero 2 with 70% WR.

-Bears playbook has a lot of auto motions which you can abuse ( plenty of videos on how to cheese) 

- Plays like Gun Trips TE Flex HB Angle, and Gun normal Y off Close Y- Sail can be adjusted to beat any coverage as long as you can read a defense presnap/fast enough. 

For example Y-Sail is found in damn near every playbook. Simply drag the slot WR and work your progression from RB flat>TE Corner> Slot Drag> Outside Deep In. This combination beats man, cover 2 cover 3 and cover 4 then its a chess game from there. Same formation different play rinse repeat. 

On Defense I'm an absolute liability. Jets 4-3 playbook Nickle Single mug Cover 3 Buzz, Cover 4, Cover 9 show 2. First thing I do is defense adjust Conservative on all options tendencies. This makes the CPU focus on the QB or WRs on RPOs leaving you 1 on 1 with the RB to make a play. I set my safeties to "pinch" and set them "close" to take away seem routes in Cover 3. I will almost always shade coverage underneath as this will turn off Match coverage and just user the Middle. I'm bad on defense but If I can get 1 stop in the game I will end up winning.
