Hey yall. Very noob question but what should i be doing with all my low overall greens. Like 70-78s and worse? Just quickselling them all for training points and small coins? Or saving and turning in sets? I'm NMS and complete noob in MUT. Kinda overwhelmed tbh. Thanks for any advice.
I would say just grind out H2H matches because it gives you a chance to see how your players are playing against live competitiion. Grind out your challenges so you can get your free players. Try to use those free players whenever possible to fill your roster spots. Figure out what your gameplan in on offense and defense and figure out what types of players fit those styles of play the best. Not every player is going to fit your scheme. I would say its much easier making that happen now because there are many more players available now than there were at launch. Don't be discouraged by the losses you're going to take. I take plenty of losses early on each year while I'm building my team. Once I get my squad together everything is fine. I've had 200+and 300+ passing games with an 80 ovr Dak at QB because I built up the right team around him to fit my scheme.
Here's some underrated advice. Forget searching for money plays online. What you really should be doing is learning about different route combinations and how they work against different coverages so you can use more of your playbook and create your own route combinations on the fly whenever you might need them. You learn that and just about any play can be made into a money play because you know how to attack the defense you're up against.

Thank you so much for the advice! As far as non lineup cards, should I be quickselling those im not using that dont have auction value? Using them for sets? Feels like a waste not doing something with them.

You could just save them for sets to upgrade more of your roster spots. You also get XP for completing sets for various promos. Keep that in mind. You can also stockpile them and sell them off for training to use for X Factors for your players when you reach that point. If you're into building theme teams you can also use those players that fit your build to maximize your team chemistries and make your players even stronger.

Got it! I'll just hold off on any of that and continue grinding all the challenges and events while I get better and build. Thanks so much!

Going back on what I said earlier about learning concepts here are some guys to check ouout on YouTube. I've learned a lot from watching Xando Football on YouTube. He does a great job of breaking down a lot of different concepts on offense that are really helpful. I feel like I learn something new whenever I watch any of his videos.
Zan Madden is another guy who puts out some great videos really breaking down how the game itself works on offense and defense.
Kurt Benkert is another guy who I've learned a lot about the game from watching. Look up his name because he has plenty of good content on his channel. He is a former NFL QB who explains the game from the perspective of an actual pro QB. He's also great at explaining various concepts and how they can be used in gameplay.
I also like looking for videos from coaches from different levels that explain different offensive and defensive schemes and how they work.
Use the higher golds for sets and turn them into elites. Turn those elites into higher elites via sets or hold until the market is up and cash out. I personally believe they're worth more in sets than the minimal training return but YMMV.

Got it! What about low tier stuff under 75 ovr?
