I bought the game to play h2h ranked, thats it. Not to complete sets, not to spend hours and hours playing the auction house. I dont have time for all that. I want to log in and PLAY MADDEN. I dropped about $500 on the game so far and I love it. My teams isn't even great, but at least I am competitive in ranked h2h.
I synched my binder today, and realized that despite spending a significant amount of time grinding and putting together a solid team, it would take another ten million coins to have a team on par with users like you. So for the reason that you spend $600 on the game while I spent $100, I have to be much better than you at football to have a chance to win.
Never mind the fact that users who spend money on their lineup for the sake of their MCS fantasies are willing to resort to cheap tactics because, well, they’re that invested in the game. So therefore you are exactly the user I’m trying not to engage with. You most likely won’t challenge me with football acumen, but you can sure give me a headache with your overpowering lineup and dedication to winning at all costs.
Not to paint with too broad a brush: Maybe you’re a cool guy with more disposable income. There are plenty of wealthy people on this earth, and I don’t hate them for being wealthy. It sure sucks being late to work when traffic is jammed due to an accident. Then you have dudes zooming past you in toll-paid Lexus Lanes. You’ve paid for the right to win without having to be better than your opponent, and it’s not fair or sportsmanlike, regardless of what your reason is.
I understand that there are NMS guys that will have 20 million coins in a month or so. But guys like you shortcut that, and you get to enjoy a gaming experience that is favorable when compared with what NMS players are enduring. It used to be the case that everyone played the same game. It used to be the case that when your opponent played chess, he had the same number and types of pieces you have. MUT is different. And while there are guys that will spend $100 for one player that will help them incrementally, you’ve just told everyone that you bought a Super Bowl roster. No hate here. Just shaking my head at you for your failure to understand why people hate you: You advocate against sportsmanship. There’s no getting around that.
