Weekly spotlight tokens expire end of the season?

Do we know yet if I keep collecting weekly spotlight tokens do I have to use for champions this season or will they work next season? 

Does the token set allow u to choose any non ltd champion in the season?

Tokens just say weekly and not any specific mention of season. 

EA can always do what they will but it seems likely these won't be locked to S1
