This is literally the least pay to win year in forever, I made it to champion rank with a 79 team and only bought a team for mcs. If you think 1 speed is losing you games I hate to break it to you you're probably not very good at the game. You can build a team to compete with anybody for under 1 million coins easily.

No clue I spend money on the quick sell step offer every week. Tbh I can't wait to buy them lmao. Like some of the post mentioned you will pay one way or another. Spending hours on hours flipping cards or just bypass that and spend some cash.

There’s two reasons you call your team NMS, there’s calling your team NMS to try to play some idiotic mind game with your opponent, like saying NMS but clearly having bought max levels on the pass just to try to get a rise bc they think it’s funny or broadcasting you’re NMS bc when you beat someone who spent money you talk crap and be unpleasant, neither are good options. So you’re stuck playing your opponent and their wallet

I bought the game to play h2h ranked, thats it. Not to complete sets, not to spend hours and hours playing the auction house. I dont have time for all that. I want to log in and PLAY MADDEN. I think many people believe that the more people that are willing to spend real money on players in the game, the less EA will give out free. I think it is kind of proven, because a NMS team can not get all of the best players in the game, and very rarely can get an LTD. A team's success is not only due to the user, but it is also the other 10 players on the field. Due to thresholds, etc., you will have a very difficult, if not impossible time winning at a competitive level if you do not have the best team on the field. Reaction Animations, Improved Hitsticks, Enhanced Preplay Targeting, Lunge Chance, Enhanced Fumble Strips, Better Play Action Animations, Improved Release, Better Beat Press Animations, Enabled Pass Blockins Superwins, Negating Outside Contain, Enabled Power Animations, Preventing "random" Passing Inaccuracies, Enabled Stiff Arm Animations, Enabled Gated Zone Animations, Improved Rout Running, etc. are all directly related.
With that being said, I don't hate anyone if they want to spend their money on the game. It is their money and their choice. Enjoy!

Hard work is hours of time. Hours of time has a value, as many others have sent. There are really only 2 currencies in this game, Time and Money. Either one can get you a good team and neither is any less "fun" as that is subjective to the player. Some people enjoy the grind, some people don't. Some people spend money to build their team, some don't. Either way if you are having fun, who cares. If you think that people who spend money ruin the game, don't buy the game. MIcrotransactions are here to stay, it will only get worse from here. There aren't many sports games, if any, that don't use microtransaactions.

It’s the same ol song year after year whether it’s mut, cut, myteam, fifa ultimate team. There will be whales, nms warriors, grinders who never go outside, and people bitching about the pay to win in essentially a gacha game mode 😂 people crying so and so Ltd shouldn’t be X price. Keyword limited, low supply so the price will be high until another limited or champion card surpasses said card. Just the way it goes 🤷🏾♂️ and now that you only need 20 for +1 speed even the worst of the worst ltd’s will be a major value to said theme team. The cards with every team chem will always be expensive. With that said I’ve gotten my ass beat with a god squad and vice versa have beaten teams way better than mine. Skill is the most important thing.

Somebody’s a bit angry, no need for the aggression. You said you shouldn't get penalized for not spending money on your team,the only thing you could mean is losing. I replied by saying the penalty for using budget cards and not spending is lower than it has been in a very long time. Before you say anything about how I'm skimping for EA I'm not the game has many issues, getting penalized for not buying the best team just isn't one of them. I know I can spend all I want. Its just money. I dont have time to waste and grind for the best cards in the game. Shit, I spent money and still dont have the best cards in the game. My point is that I want to log in and play madden. I dont want to log on and play against the CPU for hours, or play the AH.
What im saying is you shouldn't worry about what other are doing. Focus on yourself.
Ive always seen it as its a hobby. Some people drop 100s a week to play golf or pay for paint and canvases.
I get the sentiment when youre competing and you are at a disadvantage therefore a more skilled player might lose because of gear. Like a mountain climber with better gear might outpace someone without gear.
If you can't accept that sometimes you'll lose because someone has a different perspective on their fun times, youre playing the wrong game.
I only drop like 30 a month but definitely respect guys with inferior teams who beat me.

You are penalized...we can run the same team but if you spend $300 you get plus 1 speed and more the exact same theme team. That is by definition being penalized because I will not participate in throwing money out. I will say I'm fine...I'm enjoying my team but out of 6 friends only 1 is left because of how out of hand those pay to win practices have gotten. So it's asinine to sit here and say gee I don't understand y ppl dislike ppl who feed the EA money machine. Don't act like y'all are just oblivious. I'm done talking to you EA

I would say it is less of the fact that you are willing to spend $500 on the game to find enjoyment (no shade. I went in with the return of ncaa 25) it is more that people who do that, should not be playing against nms players. Now, I know nms people that stomp people even if they spend thousands on the game, but for the average person that doesn't/can't spend the money. It just ruins the experience for them. EA could fix this and seperate the 2 groups but they don't because they know that the whales would probably stop paying like they do. I game share with someone, so I have spent some cash, but i will not be spending over $50 this year because the deals will start going away and become less of deals and more mass trash pulls. They did it in college and will likely do it here. I like that they did make grinding more of an option this year for solos. I usually play squads and dont want to be forced to play h2h or solo gauntlet to get coins at a decent rate. The cpu event challange gives you about 30k after 9 games and a player that can be an 82 sometimes. I've made over a mil doing that, but I know people would rather pay a quick 20-30 to avoid that and just play against real people.
