Future issue with crystal cards…

So since you’re going to be using them in your lineup for that +1 to speed, that means whenever they get a new card in the game you can never get them without sacrificing that +1 speed. This is pretty bad for me considering I run Eagles tt and Saquon is bound to get crazy cards throughout the year

Saquon got like 30 Ltd cards last year bud you’ll be ok

Fair point. The three big unanswered questions about Crystal are 1) how often do the program releases occur? 2) what are the motivator bonuses,  and 3) do they stack?  Even if Crystal only gets released once per season, if it involves a +1 SPD, it’s a gold mine to a Theme Teamer (especially one, to your point, whose players aren’t in the program!).  There’s a version of Crystal, release 2, that only involves OL and Edge/DT motivator boosts (no SPD). That won’t be nearly as popular as the current one.

Any other theme teams you can just drop them to backups

Personally I wouldn’t spend the coin or cash on them for a plus 1. The difference that will make in game is so small.

Yeah but how many will have a motivator chem? That's OP's concern. And it's a legitimate one.

You've played this game for 10 years, right? So surely you've seen speed is king.  Look how overpowered The Combine cards were just a few months back when they could increase all the positions +1 speed.  They made cards end game in March and these crystals grant +1 not only for the position but entire TT in August.  It's actually a very big deal.

It would be a big deal if theme teams were stronger right now. Look at my Saints team, that plus 1 takes my Shaheed to 82 speed. I can buy 86 speed WRs off the market.

Also, I’m gonna be honest, I still am not convinced these boosts are even real. I think they are cosmetic. But I’m gonna test them out when I’m on tonight and see.

Respectfully, don't know how you can refute the +1 speed.  If you had these guys on your team you'd notice for sure.

Psychologically I’m sure you do. I’m not saying it’s not real, I’m saying I do t feel the difference of the plus 2 speed I already have on my theme team.

If I was to guess they will release more crystal players and you could just swap crystal Barkley with crystal Mahomes and stay at the 5/5 chem. (Or get 5 champions once enough release so you don’t need the Ltd) I just wonder how often these will release, monthly? Weekly? Seasonally? No idea
