Such a lack of effort by EA to revolutionize the game in anyway, but they will continue to revolutionize the way they can take your money. We need this monopoly to end if we want to see game play and content improve.
Loser lol
Probably one the worst times to sit out in the last 5 years from both a gameplay and content perspective.

Gameplay has improved a good bit and they actually provided NMS and offline players a lot of ways to make a lot of coins. I'm not NMS, but there's definitely some great changes they've made this year, but they've also shown why they're still EA with they're microtransactions.
Maybe play the game first before you start writing in your journal of how EA hurt you. Some of y'all need to get a life and just understand EA is gonna EA. No one cares if you have or don't have the game. No one.
nobody cares why even comment that? vast majority is liking the game
Yeah man, M26 has been great, once i figure out these safety adjustments and when to intercept or swat, ill really be happy. Since early launch ive haven't spent a dime and still been able to compete with squads way better. I gotta figure out some x factor and regular ability stuff but this year is fire
I was planning on taking the year off too, but like others said, the gameplay's better and actually much more enjoyable to play than the previous couple years (despite the introduction of this stupid "reverse slam dunk" WRs pull)... I got roped back in during early access and EA came out swinging... even including decent value in-store and great ways to grind for NMS (that early access event was printing coins for all!)... once full release happened, holy hell did EA immediately get back to chasing wallets and we can't ignore (and i'm surprised nobody has mentioned this yet) the ridiculous $3M 86s and $250+ step-up offers that have been introduced.
That's where my personal decision on how long i'm on this crazy train lies as I'm essentially going to be priced out. Happy for those who can continue to enjoy this ride for what it is though because to each their own!
“Glad I sat this one out” yet you’re still on the web page posting… makes sense tho for sure
I mean you’re not 100% wrong tbh. Idk what people see in this game, cause it’s much much worse than last year gameplay wise. MUT wise it’s slightly better with more things to do offline

Not sure how or why you're getting push-back from the community. Lots of cope from the peanut gallery. I'm clearly part of the problem, as well -- two days before early access i finally caved and punched my $100 ticket to have the privilege of lacing up my cleats to hit the virtual gridiron for at least one more season. Someone has got to take a stand. You're a better man than i. We're all so damaged from decade(s) of horrendous sports titles, that EA puts the tiniest bit of lipstick on their Madden-pig and the entire community is going bonkers, hearing that "BEST EVER" mantra left and right, left and right. 🤡
Yes, the game at launch is improved, some might even say dramatically -- but the bar is extremely low here. No, this is not the best Madden ever, unless you're in middle school and your "ever" only qualifies as the past ~half decade, or so. Life is long (hopefully) and memories are short. We all deserve so much more for the amount of money we continue to throw at these companies (EA, Take-Two Interactive... well, that's everyone who creates AAA sports related video games in the modern era). The amount of turds coming out of the woodwork to constantly defend EA is downright appalling. Nintendo isn't a whole heck of a lot better, but at least they're not charging $70 (or more) for a single track in Mario Kart -- that's the best comparison i can conjure up with my limited creativity.
At the end of the day, it's the same game we've been playing since PS3 generation. Very little has changed, but there's a tiny bit of polish that has been seriously lacking in prior/recent years. The name of the game, from EA's perspective is cranking out high volume of content, with extremely low effort. Everything is the same, there's no more relevant promotions, at least not that make any darn sense in terms of what is going on with the NFL.
Nothing you've said here should be controversial, it's all very true. Ahh well, keep up the excellent wr0k, my good man.

Madden 25 was the worst game since 21 the player count was abysmal and the game died before Halloween.

Game this year is so much better. Cater to offline users, cater to NMS with budget cards, more events for solo and comp, and all around fun. We will never see an online game NOT have some sort of flaw.
JDrum99 said:You're so glad that you're sitting out that you comment on a forum of a game you don't play about the content of the game you don't play..? Bro, just admit you got the game and don't like it, or just get the game and stop your fomo. Posts like these are cringe af.
And like others have said, the gameplay is different, it is fun, but I don't agree that content is "great" (but all the solo game modes seem to be making people happy). Players like T.O. are back in the game so it'll be fun to see who else is back in MUT. So far, so good with not much to complain about. Rookie Premier went off without a hitch, the set for playing CUT went off without hitch, no game-breaking bugs (that I know of)...so it is at least better than last year's launch.
But I guess if you haven't played you wouldn't know.
What he said.

this is such a massive improvement over last year, This is the worst game to pick to sit out
