Most of the stats are good but that blockshed.. I haven’t gotten one sack with him so far yet his price ia still so high. Better to just sell and get someone who has higher blockshed or?
BSH is thought to be only a run defense attribute. Pash rush is from FMV and PMV ratings.

Ahhh never knew that. Curious as to why I never see him in the passing game lol. Stupid we can’t have him at linebacker cause he always plays there
I don't know. I'm not paying all those coins for a guy that's gonna be a liability against the run. I think they should've given him a little mor when it comes to block shedding.

I believe that information to be correct.
- PMV = directly calculated against the O-line's Pass Block Power (PBP) stat
- FMV = directly calculated against the O-line's Pass Block Finesse (PBF) stat
- BSH = directly calculated against the O-line's Run Block (RBK) stat
When it comes to pure pass rush, i'm basically looking for pure speed off the edges. Using the TexASS 4 Man style stunt, the goal would be to have our edges wrap around to the interior and hopefully one (or both) get to the QB, often untouched.
I thought they seriously removed the restrictions on positions -- you can often sub defensive players into the offensive side of the ball, i've had edge rushers at linebacker. Sure you lose the team chems, but it doesn't really have any impact on how they'll play the position.
don't care if he's bad. for 3m to get +1 speed to the theme team all year they are kind solid. unless they have more crystal players every week i think you have to have these 3. if they drop more and increase the boost that will be nuts too.
i would however expect micah to tank in price if they drop more crystal players next week and you still only need 5x total chem. saquon might also depending on who they release. don't see surtain dropping in price for another 2 weeks though

I have 2 free CBs better than surtain given out today. the Athello Witherspoon and the captain Talib are both disgusting and give a run for surtains money. gotta play into his and other former top CBs prices... i just dont think many have realized how good they are yet!

they are definitely not better. there are just so many coins in mut this year. if you're not stacking NMS or spending money, it'll be hard to compete in a few weeks but it will still be fine for casual play with budget players

I feel like a lot of people don’t realize the + boosts are for every player on your theme team, not just the crystal players. If they did, I don’t understand why they are the same price as Bowers combined. These cards have purpose all year, essentially becoming legendary strat cards as backups on your team.

I disagree. If you know what you need for your schemes you don't need all the high priced players. Yes, you still need talent but you know more where the better values are for your specific team. Besides strong O and D lines make everyone on your team look better.

ok, well explain to me how they are better without just saying they are better. please use stats/traits to explain

I'll give you examples of what I'm talking about. I've played players who have 85 Lamar Jackson and all they're doing is trying to scramble every play with a some checkdowns mixed in and some medium passes to their TEs and WRs. If that's they case you can easily opt to Kyler Murray who is half the price and in some ways a better passer. 81 vs 76 on DAC and while Lamar is better on MAC and SAC you're only sacrificing 4 points on MAC and 2 points on SAC. Yes, Lamar totally trumps Kyler Murray on break tackle (72 vs 83) but how often are these scramblers really breaking tackles? They're running for daylight and the second a defender gets close they're using a QB slide.
If I'm a pocket passer I don't necessarily need to pay for a guy who is fast. I can focus on SAC, MAC, DAC, THP and TUP. In that case I can get away with an 80 OVR Brock Purdy and I'm going to be fine. I can use an 80 OVR Dak Prescott and still be productive.
I like starting out my games with runs up the gut to knock my opponents off balanced because most of the time Madden players want to go pass happy from the start. I want big bullies at both my guard spots and center (320lbs +) who ideally have some good ACC to get into the second level. I want strength so when they get their hands on their guy they're moving them backwards or even pancaking them. At my LT and RT spots I'm okay with the smaller, quicker players because I'm going to be using HB screens here and there to further throw off my opponent if they're the blitzing types and I really want those guys to get upfield and find their man quick to give me a lane. If I was more of an outside zone or HB stretch runner I want bigger guys sealing those edges for me. I'm not as worried about pass blocking because I run a West Coast Spread scheme so I'm getting the ball out quick.
That's what I'm really trying to get at. There is going to be some give and take with all the players that you select. That's why I feel like its more essential to really be able to identify what are the most important attributes you need in your players based on how you run your offense and defense. There are a lot of good players that get overlooked that can really be effective for you based on knowing what you need from the players you have on the field.
