We need clarity on these weekly token sets

So the 25 token exchange for the champion level legend and collector series is a 1 time only exchange, which is kinda weird to me. 

The set is up for 3 thousand days, so if it can only be redeemed once that means it’s cut off for the rest of the year, unless the idea is:

The set refreshes every season 

Or the set refreshes upon upgrade of ovr. 

If it’s none of those, then this is some whack azz stuff. 

as a mostly NMS player I have enough to redeem today and it would greatly help out my team of 80s and 82s but this restriction is prohibitive since we don’t know what they are planning. 

What do y’all think about this one time redemption and what do you expect will be gist going forward?

I get the deluxe edition and only spend the initial 4000ish points you get with the deluxe edition and spend no more after that.

In their write up before the game came out they said weekly spotlight for S1 is legends, signature and totw promos. 

Every season the spotlight will change to focus on other weekly promos with new sets and tokens for those.

Well, at least that's intellectually honest.

I haven't spent my points yet. I'm holding out for a Points-only offer like the one we got in MUT 24 when you could buy an extra Light It Up Token (which, incidentally, was priced at more than the 4,600 Points we got with Madden 26 Deluxe Edition). I'm not sure I'm any more NMS than you are, being that the real value was in earning hundreds of thousands of coins before many others joined in.

there will be a new set for 86s, a new set for 87s etc like last year

Thank you for the clarity, they should really make that clear for everyone who didn’t read one line in the blog or forgot about it. 

That makes more sense, I think a simple UI change like “season 1 weekly spotlight token” would help people understand what’s going on. 

I’ll hold these things till the last day of the season then. 

At the rate we’re earning these, in theory you can get a card a week or some shit like that. Pretty generous of them overall.

For sure.  I like the ways we can earn them and am holding with the hopes we start to get some abilities that make a difference.   Everyone plays similar right now so there's no reason to hurry on the set.
