On one hand I agree, on the other hand this is supposed to be a game, I’m not sure anyone should have to make 10 adjustments every play, and the same ones at that. It’s just not very fun is it.

I haven’t had a problem with mid blitz this year with the untarget feature

What’s your alternative? In real life if a defence is sending 6 every play with the threat to send 7 the other team is gonna have to make a lot of adjustments to their protection.

Mid Blitz works as well as it should, by flustering inexperienced/impatient players into making mistakes.

The only blitz they need to fix is the looping ones where you can do every correct type of set up, then get sacked as both your guard and RB watch them run right by without even attempting a block.

I mean the alternative is stop user hovering from dumbing out the line. If they are in a zone make the AI not react to it, if they are in a blitz make them get sucked into a blitz animation so they can’t just pull off the line.

Use the untarget defender feature. You can’t just sit and complain that the game won’t play itself for you. Well I guess you can but it won’t do you much good. I promise if you are losing to people running mid blitz every single play the problem is with you.

Who said I was struggling with it? It’s easy to beat, but damn it’s boring going against the same thing over and over. I play video games for fun, and I play madden cos I love football. I love developing schemes, but playing against the same brain dead shit over and over is just dull.

The worst is when these idiots get lucky and the ai bails them out. Rewards morons.

Make sure you are using the untarget mechanic that is new to this year.   Helps out with what you described as well as in the run game by ensuring your o line doesn't worry about a d line player who has no shot of making a play based on what you're running.

Your last sentence heavily implies that you lose to it more than you would like. 

It’s an online video game, you gotta accept  that some people are gonna play it differently to you and if you beat them so easily it shouldn’t be an issue. 

What seems to be going on here is you probably lost a ranked/h2h playoff game, got tilted, and came here to vent. Which is fine, but don’t act like mid blitz is some broken play when it works exactly how an all out blitz is supposed to if you just sit a stock pass protection.

Mate I haven’t played since Friday, I merely saw a thread and replied. You can think what you like, and I’d say from the content of your responses that you most likely are one of the guys who runs mid blitz over and over but of spamming plays in a video game gets you off then you do you fella. Personally I like playing sim style football.

I appreciate what you’re saying and I do that. Like I said in a previous post, beating it is boring, not hard. This untarget feature is merely a cover up for blocking ai not working properly.

I’d rather go against Mid blitz then the 3 down lineman loop glitch blitz. At least they gotta send 6 so all your receivers are 1 on 1. Love seeing mid blitz. Gun formation with a hb on a flat route and a few quick cutting routes. They either come out of it or get beat like every play

I'm so glad I read this thread and your post. I do not use youtube or any other tutorials - but I had to Google "untarget the user". I watched a brief 1 minute video about the new mechanic and I'm super glad I did. Thanks man!
