Getting back into MUT after a few year break, so I'm lost in the latest news/updates.
Anyone know if salary cap will make a return?

I fucking loved salary cap. The challenge of building a team around a scheme under a cap was awesome. But it didn’t make EA any money so that’s that. Best mode in UT imo, level playing field.

Yeah exactly, the comp was great and it was GOATed for NMS too.
I also felt like it was more entertaining watching comps because everyone used different players schemes (like you said).
Seems like it would be good for the game, i dropped off when they got rid of it (didn't want to pay to play anymore), and i bet there were others in the same boat.

I genuinely wouldn’t play any other mode. The variety you got in scheme was also great. And every team had strengths and weaknesses, it was impossible not to. Loved it.

Unfortunately I don’t see it coming back anytime soon- they try to nerf NMS and theme teams as much as possible to promote buying the newest players and spending money. I used to love draft mode in MUT too

Yeah, it sucks that it's that way. Draft was super fun too. The MUT community gotta push hard for these modes... Enforce a team overall cap in tourney's or something idk.
