A couple of questions...

So I took a couple of years of MUT off and started again this year, so I had some questions id really appreciate answered.

1. Is H2H ranked basically weekend league? Is it only available on weekends? And did I need to complete those 5 games to qualify?

2. Are house rules always H2H and CPU now? Or was it just this event?

3. Is there a way to skip celebrations at the end of a challenge? I know it used to be hold down both triggers and A/X when running into end zone but that hasnt worked for me now.

Hey there, welcome back!  I took a ~decades long break from console gaming (and Madden), casually got back during M22 before going nuts halfway through M23 cycle.  Lemme try to address yer questions.

1. H2H Ranked happens for the entire month, you basically just grind and play as many games as you can stomach during that 28 day cycle.  It's all about volume.  You don't lose a ton of ranked points per loss, but you gain quite a lot from wins, so assuming you can win at least one out of every three or four games, you'll do just fine and progress nicely.  It has nothing to do with who is technically the best player -- granted, my knowledge is based off M25, we'll see if anything changes this year, but i highly doubt it.  It's EA, after all.
2. House Rules tend to come and go, although there are a bunch of new offline modes this year, so i suspect these will become more regular.
3. This isn't 100% reliable, but the way i found to avoid those lengthy celebration delays is by scoring and finishing the challenge while running into the endzone between the hash marks, so at the center of the field, basically.  High success rate, but definitely not every time.  Worked last year, somewhat seems to persist into M26, but we're all just getting started.

Hope something in my rambling is useful.  Don't be shy if you have more questions, this community (MUTgg) has been fantastic for helping me relearn this once great and storied franchise.  Overall impressions of M26 pre-launch are quite good.  Vastly improved over the past couple/few years, which were an absolute disaster.  You chose a decent time to get back in.  Happy retail launch!
