Am I alone? We generally hit 99 with chems way too fast. This year, where they seem to be bucking some trends, trying some new stuff, and being more player forward with content, they're being more conseravtive with speed to start. What is the deal. Its all relative. Who cares if the new 85/86s are 'only' 84/85 speed with boosts. Do people not see they're driving the toxic trends that they then complain about?
The slower most players are, the more viable slower cards are. Plus it actually makes the 'fastest DB' coverage option actually meaningful, as long as you can nab 1 solid speedster CB to keep up with their Worthy or top speedsters, and the rest are more reasonable, it keeps things interesting! The longer it takes for 90s and then 99s, the longer we can enjoy a varied meta. I get people want the big releases to be meaningful. But lets have some patience. Game isn't even officially out!
