Theme Team?

What is the (your) benefit of running a TT? I’ve been debating investing in one. Seems to be beneficial right now due to boosts but I’d like to hear your opinions.

I run theme teams to give an edge to my top players, but it doesn’t feel like there are any theme teams with affordable starters sharing a significant number of common chemistries. Most notably, the BND Xavier Worthy lacks the Chiefs chemistry, so there’s no way to boost his already top-end 87 SPD.

To be able to run my favourite team and get the boosts to keep them competitive. Also can create some budget beasts.

I just enjoy running with my favorite team, it won’t always be the best but it’s all players I love watching or have watched in the past. The TT boosts this year are very nice and make it easier than before imo since we are getting more than 5 stats. Plus if you’re not looking to spend money this is a great way to save money/coins since you’ll only be picking up players that can get your team chem.

Just fill in your backups with whatever theme team you’re gonna run and get 20/60 for the +1 speed. It’s cheap and obviously super beneficial due to the +1 speed.

50/50 Pats

Think I am going to run with it all year exclusively and limit or eliminate spending real money.  EA has milked me for enough - especially the past few years.  Can focus any coins on Pats only Chem players.  Right now I’m

Pretty happy to be at an 81OVR with 1.3 million coins before full release and only using my preorder points(950 left).  Most of their players are very affordable at this point.  With my rookie premieres and the Season players, I have 2 87 speed receivers, 1 87 speed and 1 85 speed CB, an 87 speed HB, an all 80+ OLine, and a 79 OVR QB with 85 THP(Maye).  Couldn’t be happier and it will keep me from chasing the shiny new cards unless they are Pats.  Hopefully they keep up with decent card variety by team, but my season players with all team chems and the RPs(I have 4 because I took Henderson at HB, who gets Pats chem) that also get all team chems, should keep me afloat  for at least another month to build a higher coin stack.  As long as we get team captains again this year, I should be good if they give us a FB and a SAM LB.
