They're basically forcing us to use the new kicking Multimeter... not sure there is any arc. Hop into practice mode and see how far you can boom a FG from, maybe? If that is even possible. I'd love to know what the max range is for a place kicker with 81 - 83 KPW.
All i know is that kicking is extremely challenging this year. I'm fine with that, way better than when 65+ yard field goals become trivial. I lost a close game the other evening, because i booted a 33 yard field goal wide right. Gave me flashbacks to Scott Norwood.

i haven't had a hard time kicking, i just have no idea where my punts or kicks are going in terms of distance. punts are hard to judge the spot too. used to be easy to kick OB inside the 5

This is much more realistic. Maybe by June or July, but having a line drawn to the exact spot of the kick (or punt) doesn't feel particularly simulation... but nothing in the game does.
