I haven't learned any of the names of these offline / CPU type events just yet -- i might have been doing the other House Rules version? Whichever one that both Popular Stranger and Zirksee recommended, in terms of most efficient way to earn coins. I was using the time to test out new playbooks and practice with the new M26 lineup. Was just ten partial (second half only) games.
Alright, just had to look it up, called: 'Pregame Access: Lead to Succeed'
Please be advised, there is a play cooldown on offense, so you cannot just keep spamming the same play. But it's Arcade (easy) mode, so shouldn't be terribly difficult to role through it, even if i barely understood the ruleset. Get sacks, force fumbles, try to strip the QB and you'll be golden. Hit Sticks are very effective on Arcade mode.

i don't usually do h2h until after the normies get the game on official release. its much less sweaty vs gold teams lol so i'm grinding these solo events and getting the tokens for the solo champ option.
its a lot of games, but i'm enjoying it in between auction house flipping
Run mid blitz every play, bring the safety that is manned up on the halfback to the los and hover him directly over the center. Once the ball is snapped you switch off of him to the edge rusher that’s about to sack the qb and start spamming r1/rb to strip the ball. Guaranteed fumble every time

Right on, but you can DEF put together a team filled with budget beasts (many low OVR Gold cards, as you mentioned) that can get you out there to compete. As long as you've got one or two 85 SPD receivers to pair with Worthy, maybe an 85 SPD running back, there's some real potential this year in terms of sheer value. Obviously these players aren't going to hit the route running or coverage thresholds, but i'm pleasantly surprised by the pre-access game we're getting. Surely LTDs will remain stupid expensive again this year, but for now, there's also quite a lot of dirt cheap cards that aren't downright terrible. I've never seen so much speed in cards that are often 3-4k coins, if not significantly less.
If you're hurting for any specific players, go pull a list of that position group, sort by speed and voila -- surely you'll find something. It's almost surprising how many decent cards they're giving us without having to break the bank. Enjoy that early game grind, i've been having a blast team building and working through the Solos. Need to check out a few more of those events, just got my first Gold Solo Champ token, not even sure what that's for, but hoping to use it.

This mode is fire. Got to 7 straight flawless runs before I lost fame 8. Love the new changes this year. Only reason I bought.

The gold solo token allows you to play the solo seasons on the harder difficulties. They are locked otherwise as is the easy mode which requires one silver token to unlock. But you need two silvers to get one gold, I think? Anyway I'm not sure how many tokens are available each season or how to get them exactly yet. I think Popular Stranger has a video on it.
If you lose on run 4.... Do you have to restart back to run 1 or does it start over at run 4?

I'm just starting three and was wondering the same thing
it’s not too bad. you can’t spam streaks anymore to worthy though, they will catch up and pick it in level 3 and 4 i found
i ran a lot of crossing routes like PA Crossers and blocked the HB. then mid blitz on D. Wasn’t too bad if you are able to move the ball on offence
Those 10 games got tough near the end but as everyone said, just focus on forcing fumbles via sacks or hit stick on rbs. Absolutely loving the gring, got a few wins in H2H too!!

You're making reference to the current House Rules vs CPU event. OP was talking about The Run, a different game mode that appears under the vs CPU tab.
The tougher levels on that mode ensure that hit sticks rarely work with the quality of player currently available.
