What do "preorder" people do the 1st week

I may be misreading your tone "what do you even do..." 

But I really just enjoy madden. So im doing anything and everything. Haha.

The other thing I'd suggest - even though I don't personally love doing this - is playing H2H before your team is great.  There are almost no implications to losing a lot at this stage.  So "win one, lose five" sounds painful, but the earnings from those wins can help you buy the 2-3 cards from which you can build your team (or your coin stack) around.

How long after early release does the companion app change and is it a new app or it just gets updated? Also with the 85 cards on reveal are those going to be similar prices to top cards prices now? Like is that Josh Allen or Lamar cards gonna be a 1 mil+? Any other tips besides coin stacking? What's the best way to make coins early on? I've never played day 1 before.

I have a little over 24 hours to decide whether I'm going to go Dark Side and buy Deluxe Edition.

So the field pass is available early access?

Typically I work to get all core Patriots players and sell whatever I won't use.  

Try to find my base offense/defense plays and see what works for my limited ability

Then grind and stack - I am not opposed to purchasing a couple platinum bundles and that's about it for planned spending except the premium field pass

The updated app (good question on whether it just flips from M25 to M26) usually takes between a week to two weeks after release.  85 OVR cores are often in the neighborhood of 250-500k at launch.  

Per today's reveal, there appears to be a good deal more pack/coin earning opportunities during the early release window compared to last year.  That may lead to more coin inflation for top cards than anything!  But it does suggest that playing vs CPU (versus toiling on H2H modes) might be a good way to build your stack.
