Game will now be going offline Tuesday, August 5th @ 10:30am ET instead of August 4th.

MM26 will still launch on August 7th.

Unlike what was announced here, this now means LvL will count this week toward MM26 since the current LvL season concludes on August 4th @ 11:00am ET. Meaning, your league will qualify for end of the season Leaderboard placement rewards and will be eligible for promotion/demotion to another tier before MM26 starts. That final tier placement is where your league will start LvL in MM26.

That's a phenomenal question. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume EA used an exaggerated end date to create some flexibility around the actual date the game goes offline in case things change, considering this was the last promo of MM25.

That being said, I would just stick to what the MotD (Message of the Day) lists in-game as the end date, which is August 3rd @ 10:30am ET, considering MM25 won't be online anymore after the 5th.
