Does anyone remember when EA claimed they had a code to instantly fix bugs

Good day everyone 

So I recently was having a discussion with one of my friends and was on the fence about playing 26 and going through that grind again of building up a team being I have done this now for 3 years and had mentioned that I think it’s not worth the time especially with all the bugs and problems that the game always has especially at launch and he had brought up a great point it was about some code that the developers had said they had back in madden 23 called VISION HOOKS and how it had input into the game to quickly notice bugs and glitches and  reproduce troublesome problems  and I had a chuckle because I can’t see how it worked or if even has worked. Does anyone know anything about this or was it all just talk ?

I skipped Madden '23, the article below mentions it.  Sounds like internal tools the devs would use, probably some sort of automation.  Clint Oldenburg must have been poking around Engineering looking for answers on why the game has massive bugs  yearly and they fed him "Vision Hooks" as a buzzword that would get suckers to buy that year, then never mention it again.   One thing is for certain, they absolutely don't use "Vision Hooks" to determine whether any of us qualify or not for one of EA's false bans three years later.

"Vision hooks" sounds like someone using incorrect programming terminology, but the article describes something very simple that is already in games that are played over the internet. Basically, the inputs for a game and other pertinent information are recorded, and when there's a circumstance that is deemed negative (i.e. a crash, glitch, hang, or even perhaps cheese), it provides the data needed to duplicate the adverse event. (You can't fix something you can't duplicate.)

It's still happening.  Friggin Kurt Benkert out there clowning himself proclaiming how this year... it's gonna be the BEST Madden ever.  From a guy who has probably played what, liek a handful of these games semi-seriously?  I wanted to liek that guy, but he's just another run of the mill sell-out cuck.

Running joke with one of my boys is that we LOVE to simulate Kurt's entire NFL career at the end of our games.  Both snaps (each of which were kneel-downs).
