How do you guys pick your theme teams

Hello guys I was just wondering for the theme team people out there how do you pick your theme team. I know some just go with their favorite team, some go with whatever is the meta, but me personally I do  a wheel spin and just pick a random team or ask a group of friends

Most people either do best current TT or their favorite team or combination of both

I just use my favorite team

I gotta use my favorite team but sometimes picking a program theme team is fun.

I want to do my favorite team this year, but last year for a while I had an eagles tt because how cracked it was (and I managed to get a couple of the superbowl cards for them BND) I am planning on going in on a full cowboys TT, but I might end up doing a ravens TT because I love Lamar and derrick henry.

I started out MUT 25 with a 49ers theme team, but that quickly proved to be a fairly weak option competitively. I shifted to the Lions, and then to an Eagles/Lions hybrid (“Gryphons”). At the release of Super Bowl, I shifted to an Eagles/Chiefs/Commanders lineup, which gave me strong players at all positions and the most solid non-LTD offensive line you could get. The Commanders went weeks without improving at offensive line, and by NFL Combine I was running a 40/40 Eagles/Cowboys hybrid. I ran iterations of that build up to All-Star Athletes, the only program theme team I went all-in for. I’ve ended MUT 25 with a Steagles lineup.

It was easier this year to shift teams than it was in the past, if only for the abundance of All-32 Teams options. The biggest reason I run theme teams is for STR at offensive and defensive lines, and SPD at cornerback, wide receiver, and user linebacker. MUT 26 will impose its own benefits and drawbacks as to theme team construction, and I’ll build my lineup accordingly.

I always try to make a few extra theme teams just for kicks, but it gets harder every year. Madden is so much more expensive. In '23 I had a Broncs team, and LSU team, a Rams team, a Lions team, a Bengals team, a 9ers team, a Vikings team, a Packers team, a Saints team, and a Titans team. In '24 I had Broncos, LSU and Rams. '25 I had Broncos, LSU and Ravens. That's all I can afford anymore.

I wish Campus Heroes promo included college chemistries. It would take so little to implement that.

Always use my favorite team, which is the Panthers. Good or bad I’m a 100% theme teamer which for me actually makes it more enjoyable and saves a ton of coins/money since I’m only buying panthers and selling everything else. Before we drafted Bryce I remember using a gold Sam Darnold for a good month or two and won games with him.

This year im going to do a wheel of all the nfl teams to pick

Im not most people then lmfao. In M25 i chose my favorite TT and another team in my division to use as a TT. M26 i might do my fave team then maybe a rival or a team that i dislike. There 31 other choices and by years end doesnt really matter who u start with.
