Now that we're toward the end of the year most of the players are 98 or 99 speed?

So what's the best theme team abilities wise?

I have Saquan which helps the set up

I was running a vikings tt all year until I released I had no vikings players actually on my team anymore besides fillers. So I went with eagles chem with all 4 tt surge boosts. 3 of my 4 CBS are Steelers so I got 2 tt surge boosts for them. Using Barkley tt chem with 49ers and 1 TT surge boost to use boost McCaffrey to 99 speed and other little things.

Not the Cowboys. They've been the nucleus of my lineup since All-Star Athletes (March 27), but since then, most "Cowboys" champions were All-32 Teams players, so any advantage the Cowboys had has quickly eroded. Since All-Star Athletes, the Cowboys added the following non-All-32 Teams champions or LTD's:

CB Aaron Glenn (Sugar Rush upgradable)
C Travis Frederick (Sugar Rush, and the second-best player on this list for longevity)
HB Darren McFadden (Sugar Rush LTD)
WR Ceedee Lamb (Sugar Rush)
QB Randall Cunningham (AKA Icons, available as LTD, but was not a good pocket quarterback)
RG Tyler Booker (NFL Draft Night, and the best player overall from this list)
WR Michael Irvin (Reel Deals, and very pricey, although a solid starter for a minute)
HB Emmitt Smith (Reel Deals, and would have been good if it didn't require me giving up Season 6 Emmitt Smith's motivators)
HB Deuce Vaughn (Golden Ticket, and I never used him, and only saw him on the field in one head-to-head game, which tells me everything I needed to know about him)
QB Joe Milton III (Golden Ticket, and was a very pricey quarterback, but a solid value until Dak Prescott released five days later)
LOLB DeMarvion Overshown (Golden Ticket, released after F-word, and was not impactful)
QB Dak Prescott (Theme Team Surge upgradable, terrible position for Surge synergy)
WR Michael Gallup (Theme Team Surge upgradable, no Tank, no Surge synergy))
HB Javonte Williams (Theme Team Surge upgradable, terrible position for Surge synergy)
WR Brandin Cooks (Theme Team Surge upgradable, no Tank, no Surge synergy)
LOLB Charles Haley (Ultimate Legends LTD, and useful if you could afford him with Rookie Premiere only weeks away)
TE Dalton Schultz (Theme Team Surge, if you needed another Vanguard, no Surge synergy)
CB Jourdan Lewis (Theme Team Surge, no Out My Way, no Surge synergy)
CB Trevon Diggs (Theme Team Surge, no Out My Way)

Pausing here, these players are all eight weeks old. F-word is dominating in House Rules, and most of these defensive options are unplayable. Prescott is a starter for me, and Williams is a backup runningback behind someone I'm not remembering. I believe CeeDee Lamb has already been sold off at this point. And in the weeks that followed with the start of Season 8, this is all the Cowboys would get:

ROLB DeMarcus Ware (Ultimate Legends LTD)
CB Mel Renfro (Ultimate Legends, great coverage, weak height, no Out My Way)
DT Osa Odighizuwa (Golden Ticket, might have been solid, but I never pulled the trigger on him because I could see the Cowboys weren't going to be my End Game end game team, and I've already got Sapp and Carter)
CB DaRon Bland (Rising Stars, no Out My Way)

And that is all. The last non-All-32 Teams Cowboy was released six weeks ago.

The Cowboys are not the theme team.
