Were Theme Teams still a thing in M25?

Hey folks,

Were theme teams still the way to get good chemistry boosts? Was there something better? Curious because im going to give M26 a shot

Yes 

there was the All-Star Athletes promo that had a theme team which gave +3 height to those players. Eagles TT was good almost all year and then we got TTS (Theme Team Surge) boosts that boosted normal TTs even more

Let’s just say, on my team of only players that were on the Steelers (pure Steelers theme team), my 93 OVR Minkah Fitzpatrick was a 99 OVR after chemistry. Yea, theme teams are still a thing.

I was really thinking about that specifically, if it was still worth it to run your favorite squad

Can you expand on that, how did the boosts come together, other than just running a load of steelers. I’m in the same position as OP.

Not until gold card can upgraded 5 teams or 32 teams e.g. 75 to 80 I mean current NFL players

So I have only Steelers players on my team, giving me about a 65/50 base Steelers chemistry. 

There are also players on my roster that grant additional chemistry boosts to other Steeler players when combined together. These players are 87 (93 after putting training into it and then 99 after chem) OVR Minkah Fitzpatrick, Joe Greene, TJ Watt, Nick Herbig, Patrick Peterson, WR Cordarrelle Patterson, and the 3 theme team surge players: Darius Slay, Patrick Queen, and DK Metcalf. 

After these players’ chemistry boosts and just the base Steelers theme team boost, essentially giving my players  a 99 rating in every stat. 

I have the 96 OVR Cam Heyward boosted to a 99 right now, but I will be picking up the actual 99 version when it drops Thursday because of the better abilities it’s going to have.
